Real Madrid beat Valencia 3-0 as Mbappe, Valverde and Guler score

Real Madrid secured a comfortable victory at the Mestalla against 10-man Valencia to maintain their momentum in La Liga.

Real Madrid claimed a dominant 3-0 victory over Valencia at the Mestalla on Saturday, with Kylian Mbappe, Federico Valverde, and Arda Guler all finding the back of the net in a convincing away performance.

The win was bolstered by the return of Guler and Aurelien Tchouameni to the starting lineup, both of whom had missed the team's previous midweek fixture in Athens. The visitors controlled the tempo throughout the match against a struggling Valencia side.

Valencia faced an uphill battle for much of the contest after being reduced to 10 men. The hosts struggled to contain the intensity and physicality of the Real Madrid attack, which capitalized on defensive lapses to secure the three points.

Valverde opened the scoring for the visitors, setting the tone for the evening, before Guler added his name to the scoresheet. Mbappe rounded off the victory with the third goal, ensuring a comfortable finish for the Madrid side.

The match saw Real Madrid field a strong side, with Thibaut Courtois in goal and a defensive line featuring Valverde, Ibrahima Konate, Dean Huijsen, and Marc Cucurella. The midfield and forward line proved too potent for the Valencia defense to manage.

Real Madrid will now look to build on this result as they continue their La Liga campaign. Valencia, meanwhile, will need to address their ongoing form issues following this home defeat.
