India spinner Vaishnavi Sharma has climbed 53 places to 94th in the latest International Cricket Council Women's ODI Player Rankings following a standout performance in the series against Zimbabwe. The clean sweep in the ICC Women's Championship fixture highlighted the depth of the squad during the recent international matches hosted at Vadodara.

The 20-year-old produced a brilliant five-wicket haul in the third and final ODI, finishing with remarkable figures of 5/39. This exceptional bowling effort came in just her third appearance in the 50-over format, establishing her potential at the highest international level of the sport.

Sharma's match-winning display in the series finale came directly on the heels of another impressive bowling performance. She had previously claimed four wickets in the second match of the series, terrorising the opposition batting lineup with her variations.

Her stellar performances throughout the bilateral contest naturally earned her the Player of the Match award for the final encounter. The young slow bowler tore through the opposing batters to ensure India comfortably wrapped up the series with a dominant 3-0 scoreline.

Teammate Sayali Satghare also made significant gains in the updated bowling rankings released by the governing body. She moved up 18 places to reach 85th position after displaying exceptional control and discipline with the new ball during the final fixture.

Satghare finished her impressive spell with figures of 2/11 from her six overs. Her accuracy was underlined by an astonishing 30 dot balls bowled during her spell, frustrating the touring batters and building sustained pressure from one end.

Kranti Gaud also advanced in the bowling charts, moving up one position to 24th in the world. Her upward movement followed a useful contribution of two wickets in the match played at Vadodara, adding further depth to the Indian bowling attack.

The visiting Zimbabwe team also saw movement for their bowlers in the updated standings. Nomvelo Sibanda climbed two spots to reach 60th position in the bowling rankings following her determined efforts throughout the series.

Sibanda made an immediate and dramatic impact in the final match of the tour. She dismissed India opener Yastika Bhatia with the very first ball of the innings, providing her side with a dream start in the field.

In the batting rankings, India's Pratika Rawal rose three places to 18th position. This upward shift came after she recorded her third consecutive half-century of the series, displaying remarkable consistency at the top of the order.

Shafali Verma also advanced in the batting charts, moving up eight spots to joint 65th position. Her progress followed an aggressive and entertaining knock of 51 runs in the final fixture, scoring quickly to put the total beyond reach.

For Zimbabwe, opener Modester Mupachikwa moved up three positions to 36th in the batting rankings. Her upward movement was rewarded after she contributed a fighting score of 37 runs during the final ODI of the bilateral series.

Zimbabwe captain Josephine Nkomo also climbed two places to reach 49th position in the batting charts. Her leadership and steady contributions with the bat remained a vital component for the touring side despite the heavy series defeat.

The comprehensive series sweep significantly strengthens India's position in the ongoing ICC Women's Championship cycle. Collecting maximum points from these fixtures boosts their standing as the team prepares for upcoming international assignments and major global tournaments.
