Liverpool travel to face Crystal Palace on Sunday in a Premier League fixture, with head coach Andoni Iraola confirming that midfielder Ryan Gravenberch remains the only significant injury concern for the squad.
Gravenberch missed the recent Champions League defeat against Fenerbahce after failing to travel to Istanbul due to a heel injury. The midfielder is currently being assessed on a day-to-day basis to determine his availability for the match.
Iraola stated that the decision on Gravenberch’s involvement will depend on his ability to manage the pain. The head coach confirmed that the rest of the squad remains available for selection following their midweek European commitments.
Should Gravenberch be ruled out, Iraola may look to pair Trey Nyoni with Alexis Mac Allister in midfield. Alternatively, the manager could opt to deploy Dominik Szoboszlai in a deeper role to accommodate Florian Wirtz as the number 10.
Goalkeeper Alisson Becker is expected to retain his place in the starting lineup despite recent scrutiny over his performances against Arsenal and Fenerbahce. Defenders Milos Kerkez and Ronald Araujo are also in line for a return to the starting XI.
Alexander Isak is expected to lead the attack after scoring his first Champions League goal of the season against Fenerbahce. Bradley Barcola and Cody Gakpo are also likely to feature in the forward line for the visitors.
The match at Selhurst Park is scheduled to kick off at 2pm GMT on Sunday, November 8.
