Pakistan left the 2026 Asian Games in Japan with 10 medals: two silver and eight bronze. It is the country's biggest haul since Busan 2002, when they won 13, and a big improvement on the three medals from Hangzhou in 2023.
The silvers came in men's cricket and men's squash. Bronzes were won in women's cricket, men's hockey, men's volleyball, men's squash singles, MMA, shooting and PUBG esports.
Several medals ended long waits. Men's volleyball won Pakistan's first Asian Games medal in the sport since 1962, men's hockey were on the podium for the first time since 2014, and cricket returned to the medals for the first time since 2014.
There were disappointments in kabaddi and the javelin, where Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem finished fourth.
